Windows Mail
This section describes the configuration of Windows Mail (Windows Vista) client for use with Farm to Market email servers.
- Start Windows Mail.
- Click Tools > Accounts..., the Internet Accounts window is displayed.
- Click add and the Select Account Type window is displayed.
- Click E-mail Account and click next. The Your Name window is displayed.
- Enter the display name you want to use and click Next. The Internet Email Address window is displayed.
- Enter your full email address and click Next. The Setup email servers window is displayed.
- Incoming e-mail server type is POP3.
- Enter mail.farm-market.net (our mail.yourdomain.com(net etc) if you host a domain with FMB) in both incoming and outgoing email servers.
- Check the checkbox "Outgoing server requires authentication" and click next. The Internet Mail Logon window appears.
- Enter your full email address and your password. Check the Remember password checkbox. Click Next.
- A confirmation window will appear that the setup is complete. Click finish.
