Windows Mail

This section describes the configuration of Windows Mail (Windows Vista) client for use with Farm to Market email servers.

  1. Start Windows Mail.
  2. Click Tools > Accounts..., the Internet Accounts window is displayed.

  3. Click add and the Select Account Type window is displayed.

  4. Click E-mail Account and click next. The Your Name window is displayed.

  5. Enter the display name you want to use and click Next. The Internet Email Address window is displayed.

  6. Enter your full email address and click Next. The Setup email servers window is displayed.

  7. Incoming e-mail server type is POP3.
  8. Enter mail.farm-market.net (our mail.yourdomain.com(net etc) if you host a domain with FMB) in both incoming and outgoing email servers.
  9. Check the checkbox "Outgoing server requires authentication" and click next. The Internet Mail Logon window appears.

  10. Enter your full email address and your password. Check the Remember password checkbox. Click Next.
  11. A confirmation window will appear that the setup is complete. Click finish.
