Farm to Market Broadband acquires new equipment for Cameron, Rockdale, and Thorndale Areas
Farm to Market Broadband announces its acquisition of Telrad network-control, access-point, and client equipment to be deployed in the Cameron, Rockdale, and Thorndale areas. This true LTE equipment from Israel promises to markedly improve throughput and reliability for Farm to Market Broadband’s clients.
“We’ve been looking at Telrad for a while,” said Wick Dossett, FMB’s CEO. “There are many products that promise great performance but don’t deliver under all conditions. Our biggest challenge has been interference from the massive proliferation of wifi and other radio transmitters, and we believe Telrad is the best answer to that challenge.”
FMB’s technical crew will be installing and testing the equipment on the Cameron, Rockdale Allday, and Thorndale towers in the next few weeks. As soon as the network and tower units are working well, FMB’s technicians will install new Telrad transceivers at the homes and businesses of clients in those areas. FMB expects to replace all its equipment on and connecting to the Cameron, Rockdale Allday, and Thorndale towers with new Telrad units in the next year.
